Movies Watched This Week: Unhinged

I didn’t watch a lot of movies this week.

In fact, I only watched one. I added a lot of stuff to my watchlist and saved some movies on Youtube to watch later.

This week, I watched an old horror (at least that’s how it’s classified) movie called Unhinged.

Unhinged (1982)

I first came across this movie because Sid Roams sampled the soundtrack for a Prodigy song from H.N.I.C. 2. I didn’t think too much about it then but after I saw it mentioned in the movie connections on IMDB for last weeks Tucker & Dale vs Evil, I figured I’d look for it on Youtube and someone happened to post it so…

Unhinged is a pretty interesting movie that is not to be slept on. At first it seems really slow and boring but they give you just enough suspense to keep you wanting to stick with it. The body count is pretty low and not that much graphic.

However, the twist at the end is what will make watching this movie worth it. I had already written off this movie until I saw the ending and everything just made so much sense, it was brilliant.

The music throughout was also great. Still can’t see why it was banned in the UK though.
